What an amazing story. I went through a similar thing with my mother this past winter. Unfortunately she did not make it after two strokes, but we gave it a noble try. I probably left her in the hospital too long.
We just read Paradise in our reading group here in Sunland, CA and loved the story, the humor but especially how well you portrayed the viewpoint of a ten year old girl. Soon I will post a review on my blog: http://keepthewisdom.blogspot.com
